Short Breaks in Rome
Visit Italy and you will experience amazing food, friendly people
and fine weather.
Italy's beaches are a fantastic place to relax and enjoy beautiful sea water in gorgeous sunshine. The beaches are actually sunny for most of the year, and with 7600 miles of coastline to explore, this is the perfect place for swimming and then resting on sun drenched sand. The Italian Alps are also well worth a visiting, whatever your interests. Look around the peaceful villages around the mountains, explore the nature parks, and of course experience some of the best slopes possible for skiing. Travel to the South and find yourself in Sicily - the biggest island in the Mediterranean. Sicily will be closely identified by anyone who has seen the Godfather films with organised crime, but this is an island of stunning beauty and an amazing heritage, thanks in part to it one being occupied by the Greeks. Pay a visit to Rome - Italy's capital - and you find one of the most important archaeological collections in the World at the National Museum. Vatican City - home of the Pope and therefore a priority visit for Catholics - is also in the heart of Rome. List Hotels in Rome |
